So this Valentine, gear up, roll your sleeves and get set to make the festival of love the most memorable in your sweetheart’s life. And all those married friends out there, this is your chance to prove your spouse wrong, show her how much you love her by making this adorable heart shaped rose Valentine’s Day wreath. Let your kids join and make this a labor of love.
You will need the following articles:
· Heart shaped Styrofoam wreath
· Pink acrylic paint
· 60 pink silk roses, each at least one and half inches wide
· Hot glue gun
· Straight pin
· Pink satin ribbon
· A little teddy bear
· Wire cutters
Procedure:
1. Paint the foam base with pink acrylic color uniformly. Try not to smudge. Allow the paint to dry completely.
2. Fold a piece of ribbon into a loop, glue the ends together, place it at the top back of the wreath and secure it to the foam with the straight pin.
3. Cut the flower heads from the stems carefully with wire cutters. Take each flower head and press the bottom of the flower in the foam to form a hole. Now apply a little hot glue at the bottom and place it in the hole. Arrange all the roses in the same way until the wreath is totally covered. If there is any gap spread the petals to cover the gap.
4. Place the teddy in the point where the two sides of the heart meet and tie with the pink ribbon to the wreath.
Gift the wreath with a heart full of love and face full of smiles.
