<![endif]-->

Dried flowers are a great favorite with all those who love to give an outlet to their creativity. They are wonderful way to add a touch of class and vintage grace to any object. They delicate beauty of the dried flowers makes us eager to preserve the fast vanishing blessings of nature. You can use them to make all sorts of arrangements, from bouquets to centerpieces, to embellish cards, boxes and so on .

Centerpieces are a stunning way to give a twist to the wedding décor. To start with as we all know that these arrangements create stunning earthy tones for wedding reception tables. For your wedding you can use the following idea to make a centerpiece. This arrangement is perfect for fall wedding. It is very easy; just arrange the flowers and you are finished. They don’t have wilting problem too. If you want to do it by your own and don’t want to deal with last minute stress then it is the most suitable arrangement.

For the next one, the idea is to arrange a wreath-style around a huge candle or you can just shower the dried flowers onto the tables among tea light candles. If you desire for a clean look then, fill the large bowls with dried flowers and petals in potpourri style. You can even collect the dried flowers group them and tie them with a ribbon a keep them in a vase. You can choose dried flowers with wicker baskets too, which are beautiful to look at.

The third one is very easy to make and here we will describe you the procedure. You need two glass plates or any 1 china plate and one glass plate. Then you place the dried flowers in an arrangement on top of the bottom plate. Then place the other plate upon it. This will create a beautiful centerpiece. You can also use votive candles in a small glass jar and then a bigger glass vase. Then you put the dried flowers in layers and interesting arrangements inside the vase. At its top leave enough space to place the votive candle. This can also be a beautiful and attractive centerpiece for your guests.

The last idea is that if your wedding has time then you can select and collect the dried flowers slowly. Youi can even choose your own garden flowers. And then you can either approach to your local florist or simply make it following the above ideas.

2: Roses which are dried have a closing tendency as they dry. To open them up hole the rose over the spout of a steaming kettle till the petals becomes soft and go limp. Then you open these petals using a hairpin or a piece of florist’s wire. Open the petals bringing them into the steam as per necessity.

3: Cut a piece of florist’s foam with the craft knife to fit it in the basket or vase. Remember that the foam must extend about 1 ¼” above the edge of the basket or vase.

4: Then affix the florist’s spike to bottom of the basket. Use adhesive caly for doing so. Then push the foam onto the spike.

5: Then you cut off the sharp corners as well as top and sides of the foam with a knife to fit it in the basket or vase.

6: When you put flowers, it will overlap the basket and will hide the foam.

8: Then from the center go on filling groups of dried roses and yellow flowers tightly along the focal group of carthamus. Then angle the stems at the outward position so that the flowers can slope easily.

9: Always create a balanced shape from all sides as well as from below and tabletop.

10: Always work from the center making a curve posture by the flowers and foliage. This will look more natural if you curve the bottom edge of the flowers and foliage softly and partially to conceal the vase.

Your arrangement is ready for decoration.

<![endif]-->

There are a variety of options to decorate your house during Christmas. Well before Christmas, the market is flooded with decorative items of all kinds. All these years you have tried quite a few bur found most of them to be a rehash of the same stereotypical things. Well, this year turn your face away from the kitschy commercial stuff and embrace nature to give a never before look to your home. Decorate it with fresh and dried flower arrangements. They will not only add a graceful beauty to your house but also allow your creative juices to flow.

Dried flowers are quite easy to make at home and if done in proper manner turn out to be lovely pieces of art. The best advantage of dried flowers over their fresh counterparts is that they can be kept for a long time with a little care. The arrangements made with the dried flowers are numerous. We use these arrangements for our home décor, our weddings, our anniversaries and most importantly Christmas decoration. For decorating a Christmas eve, people normally use wreaths, Christmas trees and centerpieces which are made of either fresh flowers, the artificial flowers or the dried flowers.

Lets combine the wreath and centerpiece to make a Christmas Wreath Centerpiece.

The things you need are one dried flower wreath, some decorations along with a bow. The steps, which you must perform to make it, are:

Step 1: At first find a large tray or platter or even a piece of heavy plastic to place under the dried wreath. It will not only help in moving the wreath centerpiece but will also protect the table at the same time.

Step 2: Now you place the dried flower wreath on to the table, tray or platter.

Step 3: Stick or attach the wreath with many ornaments or floral picks etc for its decoration.

Step 4: Then you arrange the ribbons or garlands by either tying or placing them around the wreath.

Step 5: At last put or locate some colorful bows around the wreath, so that it looks more colorful. Make sure that the colors blend each other.

These were some simple steps to make a Christmas Dried Wreath Centerpiece so that you can decorate your home a bit differently this time.

Christians celebrate Jesus’ arrest on that day, followed by His trial and Crucifixion, His intolerable suffering and final death. It is believed that after His death, Christ, the Son of God returned to his home, Heaven. Churches around the world celebrate this day to commemorate His sacrifice and suffering for the sake of humanity. On the occasion of Good Friday this year, make a pure white wreath of dried lilies, roses and a variety of dried flowers to decorate your home.

  Materials you will need:

Communion is the remembrance of the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ for the sake of humanity. The communion table is representative of the Last Supper. During the Last Supper, Christ in order to teach His disciples about what He intended to do by doing the following symbolic thing. He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, then He gave the pieces to his disciples saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me”. Then He took a cup of wine and said that it was symbolic of his blood. This He did to save the world from sin. But denominations should refrain from teaching followers that during Communion we consume the flesh and blood of Christ. This is because during the Last Supper Jesus was alive.

Followers decorate churches and their homes with spring flowers and wreaths. You too may adorn your home with spring wreaths and add a touch of spirituality.

Collect a basketful of fresh spring flowers like hyacinths, crocuses, daffodils, irises, tulips, petunia and whatever you may find in the garden.

Make 5-6 garlands of the flowers and hang it in your parlor, balcony, and cornices.

You may make Communion wreaths with straw wreaths. For this, take a straw wreath, clean the flowers and trim them. Now, make bunches of the flowers and tie them to the wreath with florist wire.

You may also make a garland wreath with spring flowers. Make garlands of lovely fresh spring flowers and wind it to the wire wreath frame. Now, decorate the wreath with ribbons and bows and hang them in your house.

Now that you have completed decorating the house, assemble your friends and family and pray to the Lord, thanking Him for His sacrifice and confessing your sins
