Autumn, the season of luscious fruits and lovely flowers, of languorous afternoons and luxuriant foliage. Welcome the subtle sister of glamorous spring with a dried flower autumn wreath. 

Materials you will need:

large bag full of dried fall leaves in different shades red, orange

Long garden trimmings of magnolia, oak, larch and maple.

Dried fall flowers 

Red berries

Straw Wreath Frame

Preserved Fall Foliage

Wire cutters

Silk fall flower heads

Thin gauge Wire

Instructions:

  1. Make small bundles of 10-12 nuts in pieces of transparent cellophane paper. Twist ties the top with tape and tie again with bright ribbons.

 

  1. Make garlands of 15-20 chili pepper by piercing a thin wire through them. Intersperse the chillies with bright red berries you may use artificial peppers which will help you to preserve the wreath for a long time.

 

  1.  Wrap the straw wreath with wheat sheaves and tie them firmly with floral wire. Try to cover the wreath as fully as possible.

 

  1. Make several bunches of the trimmings and dried leaves and tie them firmly with gauge wire and also with floral tape to be double sure. Place each bundle on the wreath with one hand and with a floral wire tie it firmly to the wreath. Arrange all the bundles in similar manner. Ensure that the ends of the bunches face towards the center hole of the wreath.

  3. Tie the bundles of nuts with bunches of straw and berries and tie the whole thing with a big bright falls colored ribbon. Pile them on the top of the wreath and attach with hot glue or tie firmly several times with floral wire.
